Toyota Corolla (E120): Inspection procedure
1 Inspect terminal voltage(od – body ground)
- Disconnect the cruise control ecu connector.
- turn the ignition switch to the on position.
- measure the voltage between terminal od of cruise control ecu and body ground.
Standard:
2 Inspect terminal voltage(od1 – body ground)
- Measure the voltage between terminal od1 of ecm and body ground.
Standard:
3 Check harness and connector(od1 – body ground)
- Disconnect the ecm connector.
- measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard (check for short):
Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table

it is impossible to check the resister value and the operation
of isc valve by itself, because the isc valve
has an ic circuit inside it, which transforms the duty
signal from the ecm to the derive signal.
