Calmly perform the following actions if any of the warning
lights comes on or flashes. If a light comes on or flashes, but
then goes off, this does not necessarily indicate a malfunction
in the system. However, if this continues to occur, have the
vehicle inspected by your Toyota dealer.

1 Check fuse(ecu–ig)
Remove the ecu–ig fuse from the instrument panel j/b.
check the continuity of the ecu–ig fuse.

2 Inspect terminal voltage(b)
Remove the cruise control ecu assy with connector still
connected.

Inspection procedure
1 Check un–lock warning switch assy
Disconnect the key unlock warning switch connector.
check the continuity between the terminals of the key unlock
warning switch connector, as shown in the illustration
and table.
