Replacement
1. Remove transmission valve body assy
2. Remove transmission wire
- Disconnect the transmission wire connector.
- removal the bolt and transmission wire.
3. Install transmission wire
- Coat a o–ring with atf.
- install the transmission wire and bolt.
Torque: 5.4 Nvm (55 Kgf·cm, 48 in.Vlbf)
- connect the transmission wire connector.
4. Install transmission valve body assy

Check the ignition switch, as shown in the illustration and
table.
Standard:
2 Check fuse (ecu–b)
Remove the fuse from the instrument panel j/b.
check the continuity of the fuse.

Using sst, disconnect the 5 brake tubes from the proportioning
valve assy.

a cold soak must be performed prior to conducting the drive pattern to complete
the internal pressure
readiness monitor.
Cold soak preconditions
The monitor will not run unless:
mil is off.
Fuel level is approximately 1/2 to 3/4.
Altitude is 7800 feet (2400 m) or less.
