Toyota Corolla (E120): Inspection procedure

Hint

: start the inspection from step 1 in case of using the hand–held tester and start from step 2 in case of not using the hand–held tester.

1 Perform active test by hand–held tester(abs warning light)

  1. Check that ”on” and ”off” of the abs warning light can be shown on the combination meter by the hand–held tester.

  1. Disconnect the connector from the skid control ecu.
  2.  turn the ignition switch to on.
  3.  check the abs warning light.

    Ok: abs warning light goes on

3 Check harness and connector(wa circuit)

  1. Check for short circuit in harness and connector of the between terminal wa of skid control ecu and combination meter
