Toyota Corolla (E120): Replacement

1. Remove console box sub–assy rear

2. Remove parking brake lever sub–assy

3. Remove exhaust pipe assy front

4. Remove front floor heat insulator no.1

  1. Remove the 3 nuts and front floor insulator no.1.

5. Remove front floor heat insulator no.2

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and front floor insulator no.2.

6. Remove parking brake cable assy no.1

  1.  disconnect the parking brake cable assy no.1 From the equalizer and remove the parking brake cable assy no.1.

7. Install parking brake cable assy no.1

  1.  connect the parking brake cable assy no.1 To the equalizer and install the parking brake cable assy no.1.

8. Install front floor heat insulator no.2

  1. Install the front floor insulator no.2 With the 2 nuts.

    Torque: 5.5 Nvm (55 Kgf·cm, 48 in.Vlbf)

9. Install front floor heat insulator no.1

  1. Install the front floor insulator no.1 With the 3 nuts.

    Torque: 5.5 Nvm (55 Kgf·cm, 48 in.Vlbf)

10. Install exhaust pipe assy front

11. Install parking brake lever sub–assy

12. Inspect parking brake lever travel

13. Adjust parking brake lever travel

14. Install console box sub–assy rear
