Toyota Corolla (E170): Emergency flashers
The emergency flashers are used to warn other drivers when the vehicle has to be stopped in the road due to a breakdown, etc.
Press the switch.
All the turn signal lights will flash.
To turn them off, press the switch once again.

■Emergency flashers
If the emergency flashers are used for a long time while the engine is not operating, the battery may discharge.
Other materials:
If the shift lever cannot be shifted from P (except vehicles with a manual transmission)
If the shift lever cannot be shifted with your foot on the brake pedal, there
may be a problem with the shift lock system (a system to prevent accidental operation
of the shift lever). Have the vehicle inspected by your Toyota dealer immediately.

The p squib (2nd step) circuit consists of the airbag sensor assy center and
instrument panel passenger
airbag assy.
It causes the srs to deploy when the srs deployment conditions are satisfied.
Dtc b1185/57 is recorded when a short is detected in the p squib (2nd step)
