Adjustment
1. Check and adjust brake pedal height
Inspect brake pedal height.
Pedal height from asphalt sheet:
m/t: 134.9 – 144.9 Mm (5.311 – 5.703 In.)
A/t: 136.0 – 146.0 Mm (5.353 – 5.747 In.)
Disconnect the connector from the stop lamp
switch.
Remove the stop lamp ...

Hint:
installation is in the reverse order of the removal. But the installation is
indicated only when it has a point.
1. Remove rear door opening trim rh
2. Remove rear door opening trim lh
3. Remove rear seat cushion assembly ( or 72–8)

Inspection procedure
1 Check fuse(ecu–ig)
Remove the ecu–ig fuse from the instrument panel j/b.
check the continuity of the ecu–ig fuse.
Ok: continuity
2 Inspect terminal voltage(b)
Remove the cruise control ecu assy with connector still
connected.
