1 Inspect stop lamp switch assy


2 Check harness and connector(stop lamp switch assy – ecm)
- Install the stop lamp switch assy.
- disconnect the ecm connector.
- measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below when the brake pedal is depressed and released.

Connect the hand–held tester to dlc3.
Turn the ignition switch to on and push the hand–held tester main switch
on.
Select the data list mode on the hand–held tester.

Calmly perform the following actions if any of the warning
lights comes on or flashes. If a light comes on or flashes, but
then goes off, this does not necessarily indicate a malfunction
