Overhaul
Hint
: components:
1. Remove meter hood sub–assy
2. Remove combination meter assy
- Remove the screw.
- disengage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration.
- disconnect the connector, then remove the combination meter.
3. Remove combination meter glass
- Disengage the 8 claws, then remove the combination meter glass.

Replacement
1. Remove console panel upper
2. Remove heater control knob
3. Remove instrument cluster finish panel
4. Remove clock assy
Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws, remove the
clock as shown in the illustration.
Hint:
tape the screwdriver tip before use. ...
Oil filter sub–assy
Replacement
Caution:
prolonged and repeated contact with mineral oil will result in the
removal of natural fats from
the skin, leading to dryness, irritation and dermatitis. In addition, used
engine oil contains potentially
harmful contaminants which may cause skin cancer.

Inspection
1. Fuel injector assy
Inspect injector resistance.
Using an ohmmeter,measure the resistance between
the terminals.
Resistance: 13.4 – 14.2 Ω at 20 c (68 f)
