Toyota Corolla (E170): Shifting the shift lever to R
Shift the shift lever to R while lifting up the ring section.
■Maximum allowable speeds
Observe the following maximum allowable speeds in each gear when maximum acceleration is necessary.

NOTICE
■To prevent damage to the transmission
●Do not lift up the ring section except when shifting the lever to R.
●Shift the shift lever to R only when the vehicle is stationary.
●Do not shift the shift lever to R without depressing the clutch pedal.

Circuit description
The p/t squib (lh) circuit consists of the airbag sensor assy center and seat
belt pretensioner (lh).
It causes the srs to deploy when the srs deployment conditions are satisfied.
Dtc b0135/73 is recorded when a short is detected in the p/t squib (lh) circuit.

Air conditioning filter
The air conditioning filter must be changed regularly to maintain air conditioning
efficiency.
Removal method
1Turn the engine switch off.
2 Open the glove box. Slide off the damper.
3 Push in the glove box on the vehicle’s outer side to disconnect the claws.
