Toyota Corolla (E170): Seat belts
Make sure that all occupants are wearing their seat belts before driving the vehicle.
- Correct use of the seat belts
- Fastening and releasing the seat belt
- Adjusting the seat belt shoulder anchor height (front seats)
- Seat belt pretensioners (front seats)

Preconditions
The monitor will not run unless:
mil is off
drive pattern
connect the obd ii scan tool to the dlc3 to check monitor status
and preconditions.
Start the engine and allow it to idle for 2 minutes or more.

Inspection procedure
1 Inspect dlc3 terminal voltage
Turn the ignition switch to on.
measure voltage between terminals 13 (tc) and 4 (cg) of
dlc3.
Ok:
voltage: 10 – 16 v
2 Check harness and connector(between cruise control ecu assy
and dlc3)
Check for open and short circuit in harness ...
