Circuit description
The p squib circuit consists of the airbag sensor assy center and instrument
panel passenger airbag assy.
It causes the srs to deploy when the srs deployment conditions are satisfied.
Dtc b0105/53 is recorded when a short is detected in the p squib circuit.

Inspection procedure
1 Check side squib(lh) circuit(airbag sensor assy center – front
seat airbag assy lh)
Disconnect the negative (–) terminal cable from the battery,
and wait at least for 90 seconds.

Starting the engine
1. Check that the parking brake
is set.
2. Check that the shift lever is in
P.
3. Firmly depress the brake
pedal.
4. Turn the engine switch to
START to start the engine.
■If the engine does not start
The engine immobilizer system may
not have been deactivated.
