Toyota Corolla (E170): Opening and closing procedures
The power windows can be opened and closed using the switches.
Operating the switch moves the windows as follows:
1 Closing
2 One-touch closing (driver’s window only)*
3 Opening
4 One-touch opening (driver’s window only)*
*: To stop the window partway, operate the switch in the opposite direction.

Preconditions
The monitor will not run unless:
mil is off.
Engine coolant temperature (ect) is 176°f (80 °C) or greater.
Intake air temperature (iat) is 14°f (–10 °C) or greater.*

Air conditioning filter
The air conditioning filter must be changed regularly to maintain air conditioning
efficiency.
Removal method
1Turn the engine switch off.
2 Open the glove box. Slide off the damper.
3 Push in the glove box on the vehicle’s outer side to disconnect the claws.
