1 Widen the gap between the seat cushion and seatback slightly.
► Type A
2 Latch the hooks of the lower straps onto the LATCH anchors. If the child restraint has a top tether strap, the top tether strap should be latched onto the top tether strap anchor.

1. Inspect drive belt
Visually check the belt for excessive wear, frayed cords,
etc.
If any defect is found, replace the drive belt.

cracks on the rib side of a belt are considered acceptable. If the
missing chunks from the ribs are found on the belt, it should be
replaced.
