Toyota Corolla (E120): Circuit description
The actuator motor is operated by signals from the cruise control ecu assy. Acceleration and deceleration signals are transmitted by changes in the duty ratio (see below).
Duty ratio: the duty ratio is the ratio of the period of continuity in one cycle. For example, if a is the period of continuity in one cycle, and b is the period of non–continuity, then

Circuit description
The vapor pressure sensor, vsv for canister closed valve (ccv), vsv for
pressure switching valve are used
to detect abnormalities in the evaporative emission control system.
The ecm decides whether there is an abnormality in the evaporative emission
control system based on the

Calibrating the compass
The direction display deviates from
the true direction determined by the earth’s magnetic field. The amount of deviation
varies according to the geographic position of the vehicle.
If you cross over a map boundary shown in illustration, the compass will deviate.
To obtain higher precision or ...
Inspection procedure
1 Inspect cruise control actuator assy
Turn the ignition switch to off.
disconnect the cruise control actuator assy connector.
measure the resistance between terminals 1 (mo) and 2
(mc) of cruise control actuator assy.
Hint:
if control plate position is fully opened or ...
