Toyota Corolla (E120): Camshaft position sensor ”a” circuit
Dtc p0340 camshaft position sensor ”a” circuit (bank 1 or single sensor)
Dtc p0341 camshaft position sensor ”a” circuit range/performance (bank 1 or single sensor)

Opening the hood
1. Pull the hood lock release
lever.
The hood will pop up slightly.
2. Pull the auxiliary catch lever
to the left and lift the hood.
3. Hold the hood open by inserting
the support rod into the
slot.
WARNING
■Pre-driving check
Check that the hood is fully closed
and locked.

remove the oil pan drain plug and drain the engine oil.
2. Removal & installation chain sub–assy
3. Remove chain vibration damper no.1
remove 2 bolts and chain vibration damper no. 1.
4. Remove oil pump assy
Remove the 5 bolts.

1. Remove clutch start switch assy
disconnect the clutch start switch assy connector.
remove the nut and clutch start switch assy from the clutch pedal
support.
2. Install clutch start switch assy
install the clutch start switch assy with the nut.
