With the engine at operating temperature and turned off, check the oil level
on the dipstick.
■ Checking the engine oil
1 Park the vehicle on level ground. After warming up the engine and turning it
off, wait more than 5 minutes for the oil to drain back into the bottom of the engine.

On–vehicle inspection
1. Inspect brake booster
Airtightness check.
Start the engine and stop it after 1 or 2 minutes. Depress
the brake pedal several times slowly.
Hint:
if the pedal goes down farthest at the 1st time, but gradually
rises after the 2nd or 3rd time, the booster is airtight.

Check that the stop light comes on when the brake pedal is depressed,
and turns off when the brake
