Toyota Corolla (E170): Air conditioning controls
■ Adjusting the temperature setting
To adjust the temperature setting, turn
clockwise to increase the temperature
and turn 
counterclockwise to decrease
the temperature.
■ Fan speed setting
Press “>” on 
to increase the fan
speed.
Press “<” on 
to decrease the fan speed.
■ Change the airflow mode
To change the airflow, press “<” or “>” on
.
The air outlets used are switched each time either side of the button is pressed.
■ Other functions

The air conditioning filter must be changed regularly to maintain air conditioning
efficiency.
Removal method
1Turn the engine switch off.
2 Open the glove box. Slide off the damper.
3 Push in the glove box on the vehicle’s outer side to disconnect the claws.
