Toyota Corolla (E120): Adjustment

1. Remove rear wheel

2. Adjust rear drum brake shoe clearance

3. Install rear wheel

torque: 103 nvm (1,050 Kgf·cm, 76 ft·lbf)

4. Inspect parking brake lever travel

  1.  pull the parking brake lever to the fully applied position, and count the number of clicks.

    Parking brake lever travel: 6 – 9 clicks at 196 n (20 kgf, 44.1 Lbf)

5. Adjust parking brake lever travel

  1.  remove the rear console box sub–assy .

  1. Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusting nut until the lever travel turns correct.
  2.  tighten the lock nut.

    Torque: 5.0 Nvm (55 Kgf·cm, 44 in.Vlbf)

  3.  install the rear console box sub–assy.
